Santa at the Mall

December 3, 2007 - Leave a Response

For a guy who only really works 1 month out of the year, I imagine the other 11 months are spent relaxing. This weekend, Santa was spotted at a local mall spending some last minute down time and just being himself… WITH a female companion who isn’t quite Mrs. Clause! Now, I don’t want to be the one to spread any rumors, but if you are an employee of any “gossip” related media outlet, I can be reached at: topdollar@paparatzi123.com.

Happy Holidays!

Guerilla Marketing meets Grass Roots Marketing

Distinctions between the two can sometimes be confusing. Especially in this case study, where clearly both are used: a gorilla and grass. I think the strategy here is extremely effective, and the copy writer was particularly eloquent in capturing the emotion of the moment in only two short words.

Leslie’s Weekend Trip

November 21, 2007 - Leave a Response

For Halloween I took a trip out to Northern California to visit with some friends. It was amazing weather, great music and even better drives up and down the coast. Most of the time was spent at the surf in Bodega Bay near the mouth of the Russian River. It was extraordinary to see the sunsets and we had it pretty hard camping out of a van. ;)
